This has been a favourite story for millions of children all over the world, and concerns the two children who are taken into the forest. The adaptation by Humperdinck will probably be well-known to many from school productions. This new musical version has taken the story and given it a few unexpected turns along the way. It has a new script and new musical material is planned. Apart from the audio tracks, the CD also includes the following:

The recording features the following musicians; Philippe d'Amonville (Drums and Percussion), Ben Davies (Cello), Marc Forde (Piano and Percussion), Mark Crooks (Clarinet), Rebecca Jones (Violin), Alistair Scahill (Viola) and Steve Waterman (Trumpet). It concerns the life of an adolescent girl (Alex) who discovers that she has magical powers. However, things don't go according to plan when she grows a little over confidant and, like The Sorcerer's Apprentice in Fantasia, starts performing spells that she can't control. Orpheus (by Marc Forde), was the first musical produced by the company, and is based on the Greek myth. It was originally performed at St James Church in Piccadilly with a cast of about 100 children from 3 different schools. Thankfully, the CD was recorded with less children! We also had the delightful Johnny Morris read our narration for us as well. Apart from the audio tracks, the CD also includes the following:

The recording features the following musicians; Jesus Alemañy (Trumpet), Malcolm Allison (Viola), Marc Forde (Piano, Keyboards and Percussion), Nestor Garcia (Bass, Percussion & Programming), Ben Harlan (Clarinet), Sam Hayden (Trumpet), Jonathan Idiagbonya (Piano), David La Page (Violin), and Mathew Sharp (Cello).
